ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C114 MOLLINGTON ROAD, SHOTTESWELL

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order closing C114 Mollington Road, Shotteswell from junction B4100 Banbury Road to the County Boundary, to vehicular traffic.

The closure is required for carriageway surface dressing.

The Order will commence on 21 June 2015 and will last for a period of 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the road will be closed for only one day during the period 21 – 23 June 2015 for completion of the works, weather permitting.

Pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

An alternative route will be signed and is available via: March Road, Mollington Lane, Village Road, B4100 Banbury Road and vice versa.

 Warwickshire County Council has made a Temporary Traffic Order closing C114 Mollington Road, Shotteswell, from outside Corner Cottage to outside Squirrel Cottage, to vehicular traffic.  The closure is required to facilitate a Fire Hydrant rebuild.

 The Order will commence on 2 June 2014 and will last for a period of 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed in one day on 2 June 2014.   Pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible. An alternative route will be signed and is available via: D2821 Bakehouse Lane, D6426 Bury Court Farm Road, D2720 Coronation Lane (and vice versa).  The Contractor dealing with this matter is A Star Traffic Management on behalf of Severn Trent Water (Tel: 0800 783 4444).
