2022 Shotteswell Fete returns after an absence of two years
Yay! Now that the Covid restrictions are over, it’s full steam ahead with an action-packed fete. Join us at Shotteswell Children’s Playing Field from 1pm until 5pm. Get there promptly to see the Spitfire fly past at 1pm (weather permitting).
The usual attractions will include homemade cakes, Bric-a-Brac, Scarves and Accessories, Bookstall, Tombola, Cards & Crafts, Dance Accessories, Games, and locally produced Apple juice. There will be ice creams, teas, BBQ, and a beer tent for sampling. Try your hand at skittles, welly wanging, and the coconut shy. Enjoy the Children’s Entertainer, dancing troupe, sheep shearing demonstrations, and learn about local honey production with Shotteswell’s own beekeepers. Additional attractions include ferret racing, family fun races, pony rides, a helicopter display, vintage tractors, military vehicles, and Harley Davidson motorcycles—all while listening to the Spa Strummers.
This year’s raffle has some stunning prizes: a year’s entry for a family to Blenheim Palace, a Harley Davidson ride, a helicopter ride, and a two-night stay in a Yorkshire cottage.

2015 Shotteswell Fete
The 2015 fete raised a magnificent sum of £2,500. A donation of £1,000 each was made to the Church and Village Hall. The remaining funds were used to purchase the large tea tent for future fetes, which will eventually be available for hire. A huge thank you to all who attended or contributed in any way—the attractions, entertainers, stall holders, tea ladies, BBQ & Beer tent staff, and the committee. We look forward to seeing you on 2nd July 2016!
