Western Medical Herbalists are trained in medicine, pathology and diagnosis, as well as traditional herbal philosophy. Their approach is holistic, and a medical herbalist will understand the lifestyle, diet, medical history and character of a person, before they suggest treatment.
Treatment may include changes to exercise regimes, diet and lifestyle, as well as herbal prescriptions.
